1. Our Agreement
- Rule Finance Limited (“Rule”, “Rule Money”, “our” or “us”) is a company registered in England & Wales whose registered office is WSM, Connect House, 133-137 Alexandra Road, London, SW19 7JY and whose registered number is 14767395.
- Rule is an agent of TrueLayer for AIS services in the UK and is regulated by the FCA whose registration number is 903109.
- By downloading, installing, or using the mobile or web application operated by Rule Finance Limited (the “App"), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms").
- Please read these Terms carefully before you start to use the App. We recommend wherever possible that you print or save a copy for future reference.
- Rule Finance Limited reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of the App after such changes signifies your acceptance of the updated Terms.
2. Use of the App
- Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old or have the legal capacity to enter into agreements in your jurisdiction to use the App.
- Licence: Rule Finance Limited grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.
- Prohibited Actions: You agree not to:
- Use the App for any illegal or unauthorised purpose.
- Modify, adapt, reverse engineer, or decompile the App.
- Violate any applicable laws, rules, or regulations.
- Interfere with the security or functionality of the App.
- Transmit viruses, malware, or any other harmful code through the App.
- Collect or use personal information from other users without their consent.
3. Our Services
- Financial Insights: The App provides financial insights and analysis to assist users in managing their financial well-being. Rule aggregates and analyses financial data, including but not limited to bank account transactions, to offer personalised financial insights, budgeting tips, and other related services.
- Third-Party Integration: The App may integrate with third-party providers to access and display your financial data. You acknowledge that Rule may rely on these third-party services for the provision of financial insights.
- You acknowledge and agree that the service is not endorsed or sponsored by the providers of your Personal Accounts.
4. Access to the Services
- Access to the Service will be through our site or App. Your use of the App remains at all times subject to the terms and conditions and privacy policies of the relevant app store from which you downloaded it.
- To the extent that there is a conflict between those terms and conditions and these Terms of Use, these Terms of Use shall take priority.
- You must not allow anyone to access the Service on your behalf. You must treat as confidential the information you provide as part of our security procedures, and you must not disclose it to any third party.
5. Description of Services
- To use the Service, you must first connect your bank accounts via Open Banking. We will then automatically download transactional information relating to your Personal Account(s) and continue to do so at certain times until you withdraw your consent for it to do so. We will only provide you with a ‘snapshot’ of your Personal Account transaction information and will not initiate any payments from your Personal Account(s).
